OK, here's my blog:  Last Saturday I ran the Hagg Lake 50k... my day started at 5:15 am when I jogged a half mile "shake out" down to the Starbucks in Forest Grove for my Carmel Macchiato and a scone.  I ran the race in a brand new pair of (pre-production)Lunar Lite Racers that I just got from Nike the day before. I feel very special.  They're 5.5 ounces, with great cushioning and a kevlar upper.   My friend at Nike told me after the race I set the world record for the longest run in the Lunar Lite's because they're only on contract athletes at this time.  It's my first world record, and I'm quite proud.  On my drive home, I stopped at the Starbucks in Beaverton and the Starbucks in Springfield.  Early the next morning, I couldn't sleep in because I was too hungry (and over caffeinated) so I did a recovery jog down to Starbucks for my carmel macchiato and breakfast.  Here's an interesting fact; two weeks ago I was in Las Vegas on a business trip and a grande non-fat carmel macchiato cost me $6.10.  This coffee habit is expensive!
